Students of Bali Tourism Institute held their first field research program on 11st May to 12nd May 2018 at Gili Trawangan, Lombok. This field research involving 9 of 10 students of postgraduate program to compile the data from the tourists related to their personal impression about the development of Gili Trawangan based on two sides: environmental and technological in marketing aspects.
Furthermore, the students gathered more information as a final report for this field research from the headman of Gili Trawangan and some hotels managers. The information gathered reveals the administration, cultural, environmental, and technological barrier in developing tourism attraction in Gili Trawangan.
Gili Trawangan is the first of many field research areas that will be observed by students of postgraduate program as Bali Tourism Institute is willing to be one of Ministry of Tourism’s means in helping the development of Tourist destinations through numerous research and internships.
