Collaboration Webinar of Poltekpar Bali’s Postgraduate and Research Centre

     Bali, as an island known by its tourist’s attraction, is one among tourism places affected by COVID-19 pandemic. It is nearly half of the tourism employees were terminated as the result of this pandemic’s impact. Central government through Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy planned to reopen some tourism places in Indonesia, including Bali.

        The initiation of reopening the tourism places is related to the “New Normal” way of life campaigned by the central government. The health and safety protocols will be the mandatory procedures to the travel accommodations owners and tourism places developers to prevent the transmission of the COVID-19 in their business area.

       Collaboration Webinar of Poltekpar Bali’s Postgraduate and Research Centre is one of educational activities as part of community services programmed by Poltekpar Bali’s Research Centre. The webinar themed ”New Normal in Hospitality: Challenges and Opportunities” was held on Thursday, July 9, 2020 in order to provide additional understanding regarding to challenges and opportunities the accommodations owners and tourism places developers will face during the application of “New Normal” in their business area.

   The webinar’s speakers were invited from local tourism experts and lecturers of Poltekpar Bali’s Postgraduate by, among others, Mr. Nyoman Gde Dewa Rucika, Mr. I Ketut Kanten, Mr. Syahrul Sauta, Mr. I Ketut Murdana and Mrs. Ida Ayu Widawati.
